A warranty that replaces your bag is easier for us and worse for you. So we repair first, and we say so up front.
Replacement hides the problem
When a bag comes back and we ship a new one, we learn nothing. When it comes back and we open it up, we find out that a particular seam is failing on a particular size, and we change the pattern.
Most failures are small
A blown seam, a dead zip slider, a torn strap anchor. All of these are an hour of work for someone who has done it before, and all of them would otherwise end a bag that has years left.
What we will fix
Anything that failed because we built it wrong, for as long as you own the bag. Zips, seams, hardware and stitching, no charge and no argument.
What we will fix for a fee
Anything that failed because life happened. Cuts, abrasion, a strap that lost an argument with a bike chain. We would rather charge you a little than see the bag thrown away.
Send it in dirty
Genuinely. A bag that arrives worn tells us where it was carried and how, and that is the most useful thing we get all year.
